Lab Resources
Wiki
We have a wiki! It has all sorts of information to help you work in the lab. The wiki is currently in transition moving from an old setup to a new, more accessible one. If you figure out how to do something cool, or have some tips for pulling something off, be sure to add it to the wiki. You can access it here
Lab Server
All data, code, analyses, and papers generated in the lab belong on the lab server Hopper
. When and if you need access to the lab server, email one of the graduate students.
GitHub
The lab’s GitHub should be used to share code. If you are working with code, talk with one of the graduate students about when code is ready to be added to the Lab GitHub. For details on how to use the lab GitHub, see the wiki for core principles and general guidelines. All code and data from Media Neuroscience Lab proejcts should be stored in the Media Neuroscience Lab repo.
Open Science Framework (OSF)
We are creating OSF pages for projects. This is where data, stimuli, and everything else necessary to reproduce a project belongs. Talk with Rene or one of the grad students before posting data to OSF. You can view the lab's OSF page here.
Calendar
We have a Google Calendar for the lab. Email Jacob for access. This calendar should include:
Scheduled fMRI participants
Scheduled behavioral data collection sessions
Lab Meetings
Travel (e.g., conferences)
The Brain Imaging Center also maintains a calendar for scheduling participants. Be sure to follow their strict scheduling policy when adding new appointments.
